Harp
The bachelor's degree program in harp includes regular 90-minute private lessons, weekly class sessions, audition and performance training, instruction in orchestral studies, and the teaching of pedagogical principles for instrumental instruction. Master classes with renowned artists who are regular guests at the university provide students with additional impulses that help broaden their horizons.
Students gain practical experience in the various university ensembles such as the University Symphony Orchestra, the Ensemble for New Music and in various chamber music ensembles, as well as in regular class evenings that also take place outside the university. In order to meet the diverse demands placed on aspiring musicians, the HfM Würzburg places great emphasis on the learning of individual strategies. Here, students are supported in recognizing their own strengths, defining their goals and ultimately being able to achieve them.
