répétiteur. In addition, the university offers an independent master's degree program in wind ensemble conducting.
In addition to 90 minutes of individual instruction per week, the correpetition degree program includes orchestral conducting, choral conducting, score playing, piano, voice, phonetics, teaching practice, and specialized theory instruction, plus optional chamber music and song accompaniment. Regular class sessions as well as staged rehearsals or individual rehearsals with singers for the college's opera projects supplement the practical training.
The course aims at a professional career as a répétiteur or répétiteur with conducting duties at an opera house or festival.
