The teacher training programs at the University of Music Würzburg conclude with a state examination. They are not accredited according to the Bavarian Study Accreditation Ordinance (BayStudAkkV). However, quality assurance measures such as course evaluations, study condition evaluations and graduate surveys are carried out regularly as part of the quality assurance system.

With regard to the teaching profession, the course of study contributes to personal development by enabling and promoting artistic, scientific and pedagogical experiences. These form the basis for a differentiated perception of the future field of work and for helping to shape it, thus creating both a sustainable basis for future professional practice and enabling an understanding of and motivation for lifelong learning.

A multi-professional team of lecturers, including renowned artists, scientists and pedagogues, provides comprehensive artistic and music pedagogical preparation for school practice. Individual lessons, small working groups, the promotion of individual projects and the cooperation with Würzburg schools make the study effective and lively.
