Traverse flute

The main subject lessons in the study subject traverse flute are offered with 90 minutes per week, closely accompanied by the study of the relevant sources. The focus is on the baroque traverse flute; depending on the student's wishes, the repertoire can be extended to the classical flute or this can be chosen as a supplementary instrument.

Essential components of the study are chamber music as well as participation in the baroque orchestra. In addition, there are many other performance opportunities at class evenings and class lessons. Workshops on various topics are offered at regular intervals.

The course is intended on the one hand for graduates of the modern flute to expand and complete their musical possibilities, and on the other hand for flutists who would like to shift their focus to the historical transverse flute. The goal is the artistic education of musicians who, through knowledgeable, stylistic education, have greater professional opportunities both when applying to orchestras and in freelance musical life.
