The CareerCenter of the University of Music Würzburg is the central point of contact for questions relating to careers in music. The services are aimed at students and alumnae/alumni of the University of Music Würzburg with the aim of preparing them as well as possible for a career in music and helping them to achieve their professional goals.

The CareerCenter is supported by the Musikalische Akademie e.V. and by student grants. It is implemented by the AG Career Center under the direction of Vice President Prof. Clara Blessing.

Offers

The CareerCenter includes individual consultations, a comprehensive information desk, the arrangement of performance opportunities and a program of workshops, courses and seminars.

The aim of the performance agency is to provide students with performance opportunities outside the university and to promote the development of a network. At the same time, external concert requests are bundled centrally and forwarded to interested students.

The Career Center bundles advisory services for students. In addition, the AG Career Center provides advice by appointment on questions regarding self-organization, career orientation, positioning or profile sharpening.

The CareerCenter's digital Infothek brings together helpful information on careers in the music sector. Here you will find literature references and links on topics such as self-employment, insurance, salary and fees.

In workshops, courses and seminars, professionally relevant knowledge is imparted that promotes the employability and professional orientation of students. Alumni of the University of Music Würzburg have the opportunity to participate free of charge after registering in advance and subject to capacity limits.
