Building on the framework agreement, the 33 individual university agreements were signed on 21 September 2023 in the plenary hall of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities.

The university agreements in accordance with Art. 8 Para. 2 BayHIG concretise the requirements of the framework agreement, but also give the universities the freedom to set their own strategic priorities in terms of profile development. The individual objectives of the universities reflect the diversity of the Bavarian higher education landscape. The Free State of Bavaria supports the achievement of these ambitious goals with considerable financial support, which is anchored in the framework agreement
