At the University of Music Würzburg, the artistic degree programme in music teaching at high schools

• as a double subject (GyD) or
• as a Zweifach (two-subject degree programme)

is offered.

In a Zweifach degree programme, a second teaching subject (German, English, Latin or Mathematics) is studied in parallel at the University of Würzburg.

In the double subject program, students can choose one of five possible majors (ensemble work, instrumental/vocal didactics, composing and arranging, teaching and networking, jazz) for the period from the 3rd to the 7th semester.

In addition, educational science subjects must be attended at the University of Würzburg.
