With "ChorKraut", the HfM Würzburg cultivates a choir that joins the rapidly growing and ever more professionalizing scene of jazz, rock and pop choirs in Europe at a high level.

Here, demanding pop and jazz choir arrangements by internationally recognized arrangers such as Oliver Gies, Kerry Marsh, Dramon Mader (New York Voices), Anders Edenroth (Real Group) and many others are developed and performed in a large concert together with the results of a regularly conducted school choir project. In addition, the ensemble repeatedly participates successfully in various national and international competitions.
