Twelve young students from the PreCollege performed with bravura at the state competition Jugend musiziert 2022 and won first prizes with forwarding to the national competition. Cecilia Schwen, Klara Eyrich and Florian Hillienhoff from the harp class of Prof. Andreas Mildner and Hanna Arold (horn) from the class of Fabian Borchers were awarded prizes. In the guitar duo with Paul Manger, Maximilian Kreuzer from the class of Prof. Jürgen Ruck was convincing. The violinists Antonia Kreuzer and Joan Park (both from the class of Prof. Herwig Zack), Isabella Appel, Alexandra Fritzsch, Sofia Moguillansky (all from the class of Dan Talpan), Raphael Rupa (from the class of Prof. Michael Szykulski) and Maria Bojadzijewa (from the class of Prof. Korbinian Altenberger) as well as Isabella Torres (violoncello) from the class of Wolfgang Nüßlein won first prizes. They will all compete at the national competition in Oldenburg from June 2-9, 2022, which will hopefully be held in presence again, in contrast to last year's video format.
