At the invitation of the University of Ostrava, Prof. Herwig Zack taught students last week as part of the Erasmus+ Mobility Program. The master class for violin students with the professor of the HfM Würzburg took place in the Chamber Music Hall of the Faculty of Arts in an environment that was not only acoustically very appealing. The participants worked on new facets and interpretation possibilities of well-known standard works by Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Paganini, Wieniawski and Saint-Saëns.

Herwig Zack's work with the students in Ostrava forms the return visit to Prof. Petr Maceček's master class in Würzburg, which took place in 2019. Both institutions aim to further deepen their cooperation.
