On April 29, President Prof. Dr. Christoph Wünsch, Vice President Prof. Dr. Lehmann and Chancellor Roland Ulsamer received the new Minister for Science and the Arts, Markus Blume. In a one-on-one meeting, the President introduced the university and its study programs to the Minister, outlined current perspectives and visions, and solicited support from the Ministry in this regard. On a supra-regional level, Prof. Wünsch, as the current spokesperson, also addressed common concerns of the three Bavarian music universities, especially with regard to the Higher Education Innovation Act, effects of the high-tech agenda and digital technology, as well as staffing and financial resources. The minister then toured the buildings in Bibrastrasse and Hofstallstrasse with the opera theater and concert hall.
