Audax Saxophone Quartet

publishes debut CD

The quartet, founded at the HfM Würzburg, releases its first CD with financial help from the 28th Förderpreis für Kammermusik of the Kamar Percy and Ingeborg John Foundation.

The four saxophonists Christina Bernard, Ann-Kathrin Grammel, Annalena Neu and Regina Reiter met during their saxophone studies with Prof. Lutz Koppetsch and share their passion for chamber music in the Audax Saxophone Quartet.

On the CD, recorded with sound engineer Christian Starke, the musicians present Alexander Glazunov's Quartet for Four Saxophones op. 109 as well as the Fantasy Etudes by William Albright, thus reflecting the diversity of the saxophone.

The CD is available via the contact form at www.audax-saxophonquartett.de or by mail.
