The University of Music Würzburg is a member of the "Kunsthochschule Bayern" association, which was jointly founded by the six Bavarian art academies on January 30, 2023. The association is committed to publicly representing the interests of professional art education in Bavaria with a strong voice. Its central tasks include collaborating on cross-university projects, developing joint positions on higher education and cultural policy issues and cooperating with the Free State of Bavaria.

Under the joint umbrella of "Kunsthochschule Bayern" and with the support of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts, the following cooperation centers are currently active in order to advance common topics:
