At the end of the Easter vacations, eager young students from the PreCollege and pupils from the Excellence branch of the Matthias Grünewald Gymnasium worked intensively together as part of a four-day chamber music course.
The joint work on technique, interpretation and ensemble playing was rewarded by the positive feedback from the teachers, Prof. Herwig Zack (violin) and Prof. Rudolf Ramming (piano). The participants were able to further develop their skills and gain valuable experience in playing together.
The chamber music course not only offered an opportunity for further musical training, but also promoted team spirit and cooperation among the young musicians. By rehearsing together and working on challenging pieces, they learned to listen to and support each other.
Finally, the ensembles presented the pieces they had worked on at a final concert, which was very well received. The audience was impressed by the musical performance of the young talents and rewarded them with long-lasting applause.
