A total of thirteen young participants took advantage of the vacation season to diligently make music together at this year's PreCollege chamber music course. The 4-day project, initiated by Ulrike Goldbeck and organized for the first time in 2022 by Miho Outekhin, enabled young students of the HfM Würzburg to gain additional experience in various chamber music areas and instrumentations.

The course took place in cooperation with students of the excellence branch of the Matthias-Grünewald-Gymnasium. The musicians received lessons in a total of eight different ensembles. In addition to the two university-internal lecturers, Ulrike Goldbeck and Wolfgang Nüßlein, Mr. Mathias von Brenndorff (Berufsfachschule für Musik Bad Königshofen: flute, ear training and orchestra conducting) was invited as a guest lecturer. The workshop was rounded off musically by a concert in which the works developed were presented.
