At the start of the academic year, the University of Music Würzburg offers all new students the opportunity to find out about degree programs, explore the university and get to know lecturers and fellow students.

The Onboarding Day offers new employees the opportunity to gain their first impressions, get to know colleagues or take part in a workshop with Oliver Berger.

The "Welcome Day" for new international students marks the start of the information offerings:
Friday, 10.10.2025, from 10:00 am in the multi-purpose room (Hofstallstraße building).

On Tuesday, 14.10.2025, the following offers are on the program for all new students to kick off their studies:

The ceremonial opening of the academic year on Wednesday, 22.10.2025, 18:00 in the Great Hall (Hofstallstraße building) is the highlight and conclusion of the events at the start of the academic year. In addition to informative speeches, an attractive music program will ensure an entertaining evening.
