The building on the Mozartareal (“M building”) in Hofstraße is located in the immediate vicinity of the building on Residenzplatz and is connected to it by a covered passageway. The M building houses classrooms, a spacious ensemble room, various seminar rooms, a classroom and a recording studio with special equipment for electro-acoustic music and composition with new media. The building was completed in summer 2024 and is equipped with highly professional room acoustics.

In addition to the HfM Würzburg, the Mozarareal is also home to the Würzburg Singing and Music School and the Mozart Festival Office.
