At its meeting on July 2, 2025, the University Council elected the Vice Presidents of the University of Music for the coming term of office from October 2025. Prof. Clara Blessing, Vice President for Artistic Practice, Networking and Diversity, and Prof. Jürgen Ruck, Vice President for Artistic Practice, Quality Management, Promotion and Sustainability, were confirmed for a second term of office and will thus continue their successful work. Prof. Dr. Andreas C. Lehmann, Vice President for Studies, Teaching, Research and International Affairs, was re-elected for his fifth term of office, underlining the confidence in his dedicated work.

President Prof. Dr. Christoph Wünsch on the election result: "The election is a sign of trust and I look forward to continuing the work of the last two years together with the Vice Presidents and Chancellor Roland Ulsamer in order to drive forward important projects and developments at the university."
