We congratulate our students Anna Kopp and Yumiko Hirayama on their permanent engagements with the Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg:

• Anna Kopp receives a permanent position as cor anglais / 2nd oboist.
• Yumiko Hirayama has been engaged as 2nd oboist / cor anglais player.

Yumiko Hirayama has been studying in Prof. Domenic Orlando 's Meisterklasse at the University of Music Würzburg since 2022, Anna Kopp since 2024.

The Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg is one of Bavaria's most renowned orchestras and plays a key role in the region's musical life - both as the opera orchestra of the Staatstheater Nürnberg and with a varied concert program. The appointments of Anna Kopp and Yumiko Hirayama to this traditional ensemble underline the high artistic level of training at our university.
