The application period for the Master's program "Composition with New Media", which will be offered for the first time at the University of Music Würzburg in the academic year 2025/26, runs until March 15. The Master's degree course "Composition with New Media" is characterized by an intensive focus on new media technologies and electroacoustic performance practice. The course offers a comprehensive range of courses on electro-acoustic and computer-aided composition, sound installations and multimedia projects. The exploration of multimedia concert situations and the combination of instruments, vocal performance and new digital/electronic media are at the heart of this program.

Through a process characterized by the interplay between practical experimentation and the transfer of theoretical and practical knowledge, students are encouraged to develop their individual creative personality and discover the ability to express their own musical visions at a high artistic level with competence, self-reflection and originality.
