As part of the "Festival of Nations", the vbw Festival Orchestra regularly gives guest performances with internationally renowned artists. For Shauna-Alisha Scholz from the class of Ella Bulatova, who has been selected as concertmaster in 2023, this is a unique opportunity to perform with the world-famous pianist Igor Levit, among others. Of course, the PreCollegiate of the HfM Würzburg will perform with the violin built by Leopold Widhalm in the 18th century, which is made available to her by the German Musical Instrument Fund.

The festival is held annually with a top-class line-up. Stars such as David Garrett, Rolando Villazón, Julia Fischer, Diana Damrau and many more have already performed. The vbw Festival Orchestra is an initiative of the Bavarian Industry Association, which is also committed to promoting young musicians. The focus is on young artists aged 11 to 17 from all over Bavaria who have to qualify for the orchestra.

The Festival of Nations 2023 will take place in Bad Wörishofen from 22 September to 1 October 2023.
