Ella Bulatova
Ella Bulatova was born in Moscow. After successful studies at the renowned Tchaikovsky Conservatory in her hometown, she earned diplomas as an orchestral soloist (violin), chamber musician and music teacher. After adding a master class in chamber music to her education, she became the first violinist of her college's string quartet. Subsequently, Ella Bulatova was a member of numerous, prestigious orchestras in Russia , such as the Moscow Grand Radio Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater and the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, with which she performed worldwide.
Since 1995 Ella Bulatova has been living with her family in Würzburg, where she first became a musician of the Philharmonic Orchestra Würzburg, the orchestra of the Mainfranken Theater. Since 1997 she has been a permanent violin teacher at the Sing- und Musikschule Würzburg. Since 2001 she has also been working as a lecturer at the HfM Würzburg, where she teaches highly gifted violinists in PreCollege, Bachelor and teacher training students with great commitment. In addition to her studies, Ella Bulatova's students regularly excel at prestigious competitions, such as the state and national competitions "Jugend musiziert".
Ella Bulatova is very keen to make a difference with her art. As a solo violinist and orchestral musician, for example, she is involved in charity concerts as part of charitable events, but also in connection with Franco-German friendship - not least with a view to the twinning of the cities of Würzburg and Caen.
For her contribution to the musical life of the city of Würzburg, she was awarded the Culture Medal of the City of Würzburg by Mayor Christian Schuchardt in 2016.
