At the opening ceremony of the academic year on November 3, 2022, the Deutschlandstipendien (German Scholarships) for the academic year 2022/23 were awarded. 17 students of the University of Music Würzburg will receive the coveted funding this year:

Sebastian Claas (jazz bass), Nicola Miriam Drißner (violin), Carolin Heuser (jazz composition), Xiaobo Hu (conducting), Zofia Kraskievicz (transverse flute), Nastasja Link (violin), Kea Niedoba (vocal performance), Sten Erik Prée ( horn), Linda Scharnagl (high school teaching), Lorenz Schober (vocals), Markus Schuster (percussion), Sohee Seo (song composition), Yutong Shen (vocals), Noel Shutina (guitar), Rebecca Suta (vocals), Mahgol Taherizamani (cello), Yuri Takeshima (piano).

The Deutschlandstipendium supports talented and high-achieving students. In addition to convincing grades, social commitment is also taken into account when awarding the Deutschlandstipendium. The scholarship holders are each supported with 300 € per month. Private sponsors pay €150 and the federal government contributes €150.
