Nedeljko Banjanin receives Keck-Köppe Foundation Award

Nedeljko Banjanin, master student in the class of Prof. Stefan Hussong was the first young concert accordionist to be awarded this year's prize of the Keck-Köppe-Förderstiftung. Banjanin performed virtuosic music with the Academic Orchestra under the direction of Markus Popp in the Neubaukirche as part of the festive concert of the University Association.

The foundation supports young, highly talented musicians with a prize of 5,000 €.

The prize winner of numerous international competitions was born in Novi Sad, Serbia, where he began his basic musical education. In 2017 he came to Germany and to the University of Music Würzburg for his accordion studies with Prof. Stefan Hussong.
