The accordion, an internationally widespread instrument, has a strong unifying character. So what could be more natural than to take part in the GloW series of events organized by the City of Würzburg's Foreigners' and Integration Advisory Board, which is committed to drawing attention to the importance of the work of people from other countries for Würzburg's urban society?
On 18 October, students from Prof. Stefan Hussong 's class will therefore be taking part in the initiative with a concert of their own design. From 18:00, works by J. S. Bach, Rameau, Mozart, Ligeti, Gubaidulina, Piazzolla and Couperin will be performed in the Würzburg Council Chamber.
The evening will be hosted by Johannes Engels and moderated by Arseniy Strokovskiy.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to meet and chat with the musicians in the town hall foyer.
Donations are requested.
The event is organized in cooperation with the International Office of the University of Music Würzburg.
The concert is free of charge and accessible for people with a disability.
