Following a successful audition, trombonist Jonas Kopf, a student in Prof. Andreas Kraft's class, will join the renowned Staatskapelle Halle as an academy member from the following season.
Having already secured a place in the Bavarian Orchestra Academy in the spring, he once again beat off stiff competition.

Jonas Kopf is in his second semester of his Master's degree and has already been a member of many important orchestras such as the SMA Hundisburg and the Schwarzwald Kammerorchester (members of the SWR Symphony Orchestra).
As a member of the orchestra academy of the Staatskapelle Halle, he will be part of the broad musical spectrum of the large five-division orchestra and will bear a great deal of responsibility as a section leader.
He can currently be heard in the "Carmen" production at the Mainfrankentheater Würzburg.
