The University of Music Würzburg offers PROMOS scholarships for the funding period January to December of each calendar year for

• participation in a specialized course (e.g. master class, workshop) at a foreign institution (e.g. university)
• participation in a competition at a foreign institution (e.g.: university) with a maximum duration of up to 12 days
• participation in a study trip (without a concert performance) to a foreign university with a group of students from the university accompanied by a lecturer for a maximum duration of up to 12 days
• a grant for a study visit to a foreign university that is not an ERASMUS+ partner university of at least one to a maximum of six months' duration
• a grant for an internship of at least 6 weeks and a maximum of 12 months.

Eligible are German and international students who are regularly enrolled at the University of Music Würzburg. Exchange students are not eligible for PROMOS funding.

Depending on the type of stay abroad, PROMOS scholarship funding includes

• a travel allowance depending on the destination country (specialized courses, study visits)
• a subsidy for course fees (specialized courses)
• monthly partial scholarship payments (study visits, specialized courses)
• a residence allowance depending on the destination country (competitions, study trips)
