  • with nine years lessons at the Kreismusikschule Rhön-Grabfeld (drums with Frank Stäblein)
  • 1992 to 1994 vocational school for music Bad Königshofen (percussion with Martin Amthor; degree: state-certified leader in amateur music)
  • 1994 to 1995 military service with the Air Force Music Corps 1 Munich - Neubiberg
  • 1995 started studying at the University of Music Würzburg with Prof. Mark C. Lutz
  • 1999 DM diploma degree
  • Since 2001: Teacher for percussion and drums at the "Musikschule im Landkreis Neustadt a. d. Aisch - Bad Windsheim e.V.".
  • Since 2006 principal
  • Juror at competitions like "Jugend Musiziert" or the "Solo/Duo-Competition of the Bavarian Wind Music Association
  • Since 2007 lecturer for percussion ensemble at the Academy of Music

In addition to continuous training on percussion instruments (including master classes with David Punto/ timpani and Dom Famularo / DrumSet), he has played numerous concerts and CD recordings in a wide variety of formations such as wind orchestra, big band, rock and jazz formations, chamber music ensembles and symphony orchestras.

Furthermore, he is active as a drummer, soloist and orchestra substitute.
