Felix Schneider
Felix Schneider, born in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, began learning to play the piano at the age of 6 with his parents. In 2010, he began studying with Tine Schneider in Würzburg and graduated with a bachelor's degree in jazz piano in 2015. In addition to his training in Würzburg, he also studied with Albert Sanz in Valencia. In 2017, he completed his Master's degree, which had a significant influence on him.
As a pedagogue and piano teacher, he is active as a lecturer at the University of Music Würzburg and the solidarity music school association "Willkommen mit Musik". Felix Schneider currently lives in Würzburg again and plays, among others, in bands such as: Castillo Kazaki | Hussien & Felix | Lou-Duo | Raniin-Trio | Anton Mangold-Quartett | Pioneros Latinos
Awards:
1st place at 2015 - Jazz Competition with his band "Charles Mingus -Tribute" (Hochschule für Musik Würzburg).
1st place - 2017 - Steinway Solo Piano Jazz-Award (Frankfurt am Main)
1st place 2017 - Young German Jazz Award in Osnabrück with the band "AMQ" (Anton Mangold - Quartet)
