Already during her studies in Cologne and Düsseldorf, the lyric soprano Silke Evers made her debut at the Bonn Opera and received guest contracts at the Münster and Hagen Operas.

Since 2003 she has been a permanent ensemble member at the Mainfrankentheater Würzburg, where she has distinguished herself in a variety of roles ranging from Mozart's Donna Anna, Fiordiligi, Ilia, but also Michaela, Saffi, Frau Fluth to leading roles in world premieres. Meanwhile she made guest appearances at various opera houses such as Meiningen, Kassel, Augsburg or Chemnitz.

In 2011 Ms. Evers made her debut at the Salzburg Festival, in 2012/2013 she sang L. Nono's "Al gran sole" and Ännchen in C.M.v.Weber's Freischütz at the Berlin State Opera with great success.

Awarded with many prizes, she can be heard in the great concert halls such as Berlin Philharmonie, Berlin Konzerthaus, Cologne Philharmonie or Tonhalle Zurich. Ms. Evers is especially in demand in the field of New Music, where she performs with renowned ensembles and conductors such as Ingo Metzmacher, R.Spano, P.Hirsch, with the ensemble modern and the Experimentalstudio Freiburg.

Her unusual song programs, which she performs in moderated song recitals and CD recordings, also receive great attention. In 2017, the new CD with mignon settings "Longing for Italy" was released .

In addition to her own singing, teaching has always been a great concern for Ms. Evers. She can look back on many years of teaching experience, which she was able to prove as a lecturer in Würzburg and Mainz.
