Yuki Takebayshi was successful at the audition and will be offered a permanent position as principal tuba with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin from the coming season. He studies with Heiko Triebener and Carsten Vollmuth.

Japanese-born Yuki Takebayashi completed his bachelor's degree at the Kyoto City University of Arts. Since the winter semester 2020/2021, he has been studying for a Master of Music in Performance at the University of Music Würzburg. He was an academy member of the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra in the 2022/2023 season and has been an academy member of the Staatskapelle Berlin since September 2023.
