Prof. Dr. Andreas C. Lehmann and Rudolf Ramming face interesting tasks

The University Council of the University of Music Würzburg elected Prof. Dr. Andreas C. Lehmann and AD Rudolf Ramming as Vice Presidents of the University in its meeting on November 24, 2021. Prof. Dr. Lehmann was confirmed in office for the second time with this election. Mr. AD Ramming succeeds Prof. Martin Hummel as Vice President. The term of office of the newly elected vice presidents runs until 30.09.2023.

Dr. Andreas C. Lehmann is Professor of Systematic Musicology with a focus on music psychology. He researches and publishes internationally on expert performance, practicing and amateur music making, and arts education. His focus in his work as Vice President over the past four years has been on 'Studies and Teaching' and 'International Office'.

Rudolf Ramming is active as a pianist in many ways, both as a soloist and with chamber music partners in Germany and abroad. He is in demand as a lecturer at courses of the Jeunesses Musicales and at the Bavarian Music Academies Marktoberdorf and Hammelburg. At the University of Music Würzburg, he represented teaching and artistic staff on the Senate and University Council for 10 years. From 2015 to 2021 he was specialist group spokesman for the piano specialist group.
