Our Master's student Theresa Schönberger was able to prevail in a demanding selection process and will be given a permanent position as principal 2nd violin at the Staatstheater Stuttgart from the coming season.

Theresa already had a temporary contract with the renowned Düsseldorfer Symphoniker / Deutsche Oper am Rhein at the beginning of the year - now she is continuing her musical path in Stuttgart and further establishing herself in the professional orchestral scene. She has been studying violin in Prof. Herwig Zack 's class at the University of Music since the winter semester of 2023.

The Staatstheater Stuttgart is one of the most important multi-genre theaters in Germany. With its opera, ballet and drama ensemble, it enjoys a high international reputation and stands for artistic excellence at the highest level. The Stuttgart State Orchestra, in which Theresa Schönberger will play in the future, looks back on a long tradition and is an integral part of cultural life in the region.
