Accordion student Shunan Liu from Stefan Hussong's class was awarded 1st prize in the CONCERTIST category at the 49th International Accordion Competition "Susret harmonikaša" in Pula (Croatia) from 19 to 22 May 2026. With 92.76 points, she achieved an excellent competition result.

Shunan Liu has been studying accordion at the Würzburg University of Music with Prof Stefan Hussong since 2021. After successfully completing her master's degree, she is currently continuing her training in the masterclass and has already successfully performed at several international competitions.

By winning 1st prize at the renowned international competition in Pula, Shunan Liu has once again confirmed her artistic level and her successful development as a young accordionist.
