The citizens' project"100für100", launched by the Mozartfest Würzburg on the occasion of its 100th anniversary in 2021, has received the "Opus Klassik" award in the category of audience and participation projects. More than 100 initiatives and groups from Würzburg's urban society contributed to the project and creatively implemented their own view of Mozart. The University of Music Würzburg was represented with two projects:

Students of the university staged and arranged a shortened, corona-compliant version of Mozart's opera "Die Entführung aus dem Serail" largely on their own. In mid-October, the performances took place in the university's chamber music hall, with additional pedagogical preparation for 10th grade school classes.

In the second project, students of the university developed a creative online concert introduction for one of the concerts in the Mozartfest from a workshop with the poetry slammer Pauline Füg.
