Two students of Prof. Herwig Zack, Nastasja Link and Natsumi Hirose,  won interesting academy positions.

Natsumi Hirose, who came to the HfM Würzburg in 2017 as a master's student until she successfully completed this study program in 2020, is now part of Meisterklasse at our university. She will become a member of the Orchestra Academy of the Mecklenburg State Theater starting in the 2022/2023 season. Natsumi Hirose is thus part of the founding generation of this new institution of the Schwerin cultural institution.

Nastasja Link succeeded in winning an academy place with the Staatskapelle Berlin (Staatsoper Unter den Linden). Her performance at the audition must have been particularly convincing: Typically, the Staatskapelle Berlin only accepts master's students as academy members who have already earned a bachelor's degree. Nastasja Link, however, is currently "only" studying for a bachelor's degree at the HfM Würzburg. In the future, as an academist, she will have the opportunity to play under the direction of Daniel Barenboim, among others.
