Raul Pankeyev, a violin student in Prof. Sören Uhde’s class, has successfully passed the audition for a place at the Stuttgart State Orchestra’s Orchestra Academy (violin). The audition took place on 3 July 2026. He will begin his role at the Stuttgart State Opera and State Theatre in mid-September 2026.

Raul Pankeyev, aged 21, was born in Künzelsau in 2004. At the age of just eleven, in 2016, he was accepted into the Pre-College Programme at the Würzburg University of Music, where he was mentored by Dan Talpan. He subsequently began his Bachelor’s degree in violin under Prof. Sören Uhde.

Raul Pankeyev gained valuable orchestral experience as concertmaster of the Young Orchestra Academy of the Franconia Region and the Würzburg Youth Philharmonic. He also performed as a section player with the Heilbronn Symphony Orchestra and the Würth Philharmonic.

His musical talent has also been recognised on several occasions in the ‘Jugend musiziert’ competition: between 2015 and 2022, he received numerous awards at regional, state and national level.
