After her successful master's degree at the University of Music Würzburg in the class of Prof. Szykulski, Ella-Marie Steinmetz, scholarship holder of the Robert-Breuning-Foundation, was an orchestra intern in the 1st violins at the Hessisches Staatsorchester Wiesbaden in the season 2021/22. Following this, she has been offered a temporary contract for a full-time 1st violin position at the Hessisches Staatsorchester Wiesbaden at the beginning of the new 2022/23 season. She already completed her bachelor's degree with double honors at the Wiesbaden Music Academy and will now remain loyal to the Hessian state capital in the coming season.
Anna Buda, master student in the class of Professor Michael Szykulski, was successful in three competitions. She achieved three 2nd places at the London International Music Competition, the Medici International Music Competition and the American Virtuoso International Music Competition 2022. The young Polish violinist is a prize winner of numerous international competitions. Before coming to the University of Music Würzburg, she already completed a violin master's degree at the Academy of Music in Krakow. She received her first violin lessons at the age of seven, inspired by a legendary performance by Anne-Sophie Mutter at the Krakow Philharmonic.
