From September 19 to 20, a symposium on "Music & Aging: Music Activities in Old Age and Music Therapy for Aging Impairments" will take place at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences.
The symposium is a cooperation project between the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences (Music Therapy degree program) and the University of Music Würzburg (Elementary Music Education degree program).
The symposium is supported by the Bavarian Academic Support for Eastern Europe and the Czech Republic BAYHOST and BTHA and will be held in English.
The symposium serves the exchange with colleagues from Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany and is compiled with contributions from the specialist disciplines of music therapy and music education. Prof. Dr. Thomas Wosch and Prof. Michael Forster are responsible for organizing the symposium.
Prof. Daniela Hasenhündl and Prof. Michael Forster are each taking part in the varied program with a workshop.
