The Würzburg University of Music mourns the loss of Maria Fischer-Flach.

In October 2023, the founder and honorary senator of the University of Music Würzburg Maria Fischer-Flach passed away. Maria Fischer-Flach was particularly interested in classical music. With the Wolfgang Fischer and Maria Fischer-Flach Foundation, she has supported students at the Würzburg University of Music since 2002. Her generous work will continue after her death with the annual chamber music competition.
