As part of an excursion, Prof. Dr. Katharina Deserno and Daniela Ruck visited the renowned music school in Fürth, which is run by Robert Wagner, together with a group of students. This music school is widely known for its special focus on inclusive music education, which makes it an important place for innovative music education.

A highlight of the excursion was a visit to a rehearsal of the inclusive band "Alle Neune". This band is led by Robert Wagner and Carolin Heuser. Carolin Heuser is a graduate of the University of Music Würzburg and currently works as a teacher at the music school in Fürth. The students had the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into the working methods and pedagogical concepts used in inclusive music education.

The excursion not only gave the students the opportunity to experience theoretical knowledge from their studies in practice, but also to observe the inspiring work of musicians and teachers who are passionate about inclusion and musical diversity. The visit was an impressive demonstration of how people with different abilities can make music together and learn from each other.
