Since 2019, the versatile and dedicated musician Felix Hahn has been studying in the class of Prof. Andreas Mildner. The young harpist can already look back on considerable competition successes and gained orchestral experience with, among others, the Würzburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Thuringian Symphony Orchestra or even the ODEON Youth Symphony Orchestra Munich, the sponsor orchestra of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.

After passing all three rounds of the competition with flying colors, Felix Hahn was awarded first prize in the ”Senior Artist" category at the “Caneres" in Vienna, one of the most prestigious international competitions for classical music, on the strength of his convincing performance overall, but especially in the final round.

In addition to a certificate, a medal and well-deserved prize money, the first prize also includes participation in the “Grand Final” of the competition. The event, which takes place in August 2023, offers the winners the chance to present themselves once again in front of a large audience and to recommend themselves for an additional award. In addition to further prize money, the winners will also receive concert engagements and three years of professional musician management.
