On 31.03.2023 the Accreditation Council made the decision that the quality management system of the University of Music Würzburg is accredited without conditions for the period from 01.10.2022 to 30.09.2030, after the University of Music Würzburg had already submitted its application for system accreditation to the Foundation Accreditation Council on 28.06.2022 and uploaded 125 partly very extensive documents to its database ELIAS.

Now the University of Music Würzburg itself can award the "Seal of the Accreditation Council" and the internal accreditations of bachelor's and master's programmes are accordingly also valid outside the University of Music Würzburg. Thus, an intensive preparation process of many years has come to a successful conclusion and the University of Music Würzburg is now the fourth system-accredited university of music in Germany.
