The offer of the Netzwerk Musikhochschulen (NW 4.0) to acquire the teaching certificate "The Art of Teaching" has been accepted by three teachers of the University of Music Würzburg. Fortunately, the group of participants is very heterogeneous: Prof. Lutz Koppetsch (orchestral instruments, saxophone), Daniela Ruck (elementary music pedagogy) and Florian Lill (systematic musicology).

From March 8 to 10, the kick-off workshop was held in Nuremberg with a total of 21 teachers from 13 network universities. Until the final workshop in a year's time, they will continue their training in the four areas of teaching and learning, examining, advising and accompanying, and reflection and feedback, which will also focus on digitization and diversity-sensitive teaching. Parallel to this, the teachers each work on their own teaching project and reflect on their own teaching in exchange with other teachers in the form of collegial consultations and observation.

All other teachers at the University of Music Würzburg have the opportunity until summer 2024 to take advantage of free NW 4.0 offers for further qualification in the area of (music) university didactics and to acquire the "Basic Certificate".
