At this year's Kulturpreis Bayern, Luna Burkert, EMP and flute student at the University of Music Würzburg, was awarded for her bachelor thesis in the category science.
Luna Burkert wrote her bachelor thesis on the topic "The kinesthetic sensitization in elementary music practice: possibilities and limits in inclusive work" with Prof. Dr. Schuppert and Prof. Forster as part of her EMP studies. Part of this work was, among other things, a practical project with a school class at the Förderzentrum für körperliche und motorische Entwicklung in Würzburg-Heuchelhof. Through this work, she has become deeply involved with inclusive music practice and has repeatedly found that inclusion can only be an opportunity that each and everyone should take advantage of in their own possible field of action. In the future, she would like to continue making a positive contribution to anchoring inclusion in our society.
The award ceremony of the Bavarian Culture Award will take place on 10.11.2022 from 7 pm in Munich and will be broadcast live on the Bayernwerk streaming platform. All award winners will receive the 'Gedankenblitz', the award statue of the Kulturpreis Bayern.
