Accordion Without Borders

10/12/2026

Concert by Prof. Stefan Hussong’s class on 16 October 2026

The accordion, an instrument widely played around the world, has a powerful unifying quality. So what could be more natural than to take part in the GloW series of events organised by the City of Würzburg’s Advisory Board on Foreigners and Integration, which is committed to raising awareness of the importance of the work carried out by people from other countries for Würzburg’s urban community?
On 16 October 2026, students from Prof. Stefan Hussong’s class will therefore take part in the initiative with a concert they have organised themselves. From 6.00 pm, works by Grieg, Mozart, Scarlatti, Bach and Mossenmark will be performed in Würzburg’s Ratssaal.

The event will be hosted by Vice-President Prof. Dr Andreas Lehmann, who will also guide the audience through the evening.

Afterwards, everyone is invited to meet and chat with the musicians in the town hall foyer.
Donations are welcome.

The event is organised in collaboration with the International Office of the HfM Würzburg.

The concert is free of charge and accessible to all.
