It was with great sadness that we learnt of the far too early death of our former lecturer, Andrej Hovrin. 

Andrej Hovrin worked as a répétiteur at the Opera School of the Würzburg University of Music from 2010 to 2025. As an outstanding expert on the operatic repertoire and an experienced pianist, he passed on his knowledge to the students with great dedication and supported them on their artistic journey.

We will always honour the memory of Andrej Hovrin.

Our thoughts are with his family and all those who were close to him.
