ERASMUS+ for University Faculty and Staff

Informations for Administrative Staff

As part of the ERASMUS+ education programme of the European Union, staff of the University of Music Wuerzburg have the opportunity to visit other universities for additional training and to continue their education. The activities supported include internships, job shadowing, study and work visits as well as participation in workshops, seminars and language courses. In addition to the acquisition of knowledge and practical skills that are important for the current job and professional development, the acquisition of intercultural skills and the international exchange of experience and good working methods are at the heart of this staff mobility project. Beyond this, the cooperation between the home university and the host institution is promoted.

During their stay abroad in one of the 34 ERASMUS+ programme countries, participating university employees receive a financial grant in the form of a mobility allowance. The programme countries include the 28 countries of the European Union as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey and Macedonia. Residencies in Switzerland can be funded under the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP), which is similar to ERASMUS+. If you are interested in a residency at an institution, which is currently not an ERASMUS+ partner university of the University of Music Wuerzburg, but which participates in the ERASMUS+ program, please contact the team of the IO. If possible, we will then sign an ERASMUS+ cooperation agreement with the respective university!
