Music & Health: Feldenkrais | Stage Presence
Office hours: by arrangement

Hildegard Wind studied violin at the Musikhochschule Freiburg with Rainer Kussmaul. After passing her exams "with distinction", she became second concertmaster of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra at the age of 23. She held this position for five years.

From 1991 to 2001 she taught at the Musikhochschule Freiburg - initially as an assistant to Rainer Kussmaul, then as a substitute for his professorship and finally in her own violin class. In 1998-2002 she completed a Feldenkrais training and since then has also taught "Feldenkrais for Musicians". In this capacity she has already given several lectures at international congresses (Lucerne, Berlin, Graz, etc.) and has received invitations for workshops at various German conservatories and orchestras.

Since 2015 Hildegard Wind has been teaching Feldenkrais at the University of Music Würzburg as part of the "Musik& Gesundheit" initiative.
