The studied musician Canan Semel was a longtime member of the renowned show vocal quartet Eurocats. Their energetic stage show was known for its four-part harmony singing, paired with solo titles, dance and entertainment. Their versatile repertoire of pop, soul, musical and gospel earned the group engagements at large gala events and corporate events throughout Germany and Europe - including Daimler Chrysler, IBM, Siemens, VGH, Hapag Lloyd "MS Europa".

She has also gained extensive stage experience as a singer with established gala bands, big bands and top 40 bands throughout Europe, including the Nuremberg Radio Orchestra, Ed Sperber, the Benny Lehnert Show Band, the Ambros Seelos Orchestra, Nightflight and the Amorados Show Band. Among them performances at big balls, fairs, exclusive private parties or famous company events e.g. Dolder Grandhotel Zurich, Hilton London, Beau Rivage Palace Lausanne, Suvretta St.Moritz, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Casino Wiesbaden, ICC Berlin, Kongresshaus Vienna, Maritim chain, or the Robinson Club chain.

Under the name Canan Brown, she has released her own recordings and has had numerous TV appearances, including the Grand Prix preliminary round on ARD, RTL, SAT1, BR3, HR3, SWR3.

She also works as a studio singer for backing vocals, song layouts and advertising jingles.

In addition to her singing activities, Canan Semel was a presenter at a local television station for many years and now works as a freelance presenter at various events.

She has been teaching pop singing at the University of Music in Würzburg since 2009.

At the competition Jugend Musiziert in the category pop singing (every 3 years) 13 of her students achieved federal prizes! Among them 3x a 1st place!

Canan Semel is a member of the expert committee for popular music at the Tonkünstlerverband Bayern and is responsible for the certification of pop singing teachers.
